  Looking for a new refrigerator today and went to look at Lowe's. They had a good selection. The people in the appliance department were extremely helpful. They let us look on their computer and print out the refrigerators we were interested in so we could sit down and read the differences between them. Best appliance shopping trip ever! We did make a purchase and it was one that they recommended. I have purchased 90% of my appliances from Lowe's.

  I do not typically leave reviews unless they are good.. I am a customer relations manager so i know how bad reviews can effect a company. However I am really fed up with this store. I have been coming to this lowes for quite sometime now. I am in this store on a weekly basis usually buying lumber as I love to build things! Not once have I EVER been offered any assistance on loading lumber off shelf's, or loading it into my car. I normally do not even bother asking because I know it is pointless. However the last 4 or 5 times I have come in this store I have purchased a good amount of lumber each time. I have had Male employees walk pass me multiple times.. and not ONCE offer to assist me. I understand if someone is already assisting another customer. however this has never EVER been the case. The last 2 times I was in this store I left in the worst of moods! the first time I had a large amount of lumber and it was very cold so I asked if someone could help me load it. They paged many times.. never received any assistance from their employees. However, I did receive help from a customer! I was very thankful he helped me. However, a customer shouldn't have to help another customer.. that is what Lowes employees are paid to do. The second most recent (last night) I experienced the same thing..This time I need some lumber cut. When the man finally walked back there. (15 min later) He made me feel i was interrupting his time and did not seem to please about cutting wood. (which by the way is the same man that walked passed me 2 times as i was loading lumber in my cart and didn't offer to help me). I have had wood cut many times from here and home depot. Every time the employee will cut one piece at a time. This guy stuck 5-2x4x8 in and cut it all at one time .. he also did this with my larger pieces and jammed the saw while cutting the wood. When he put them in my cart there was a good size chuck that wasn't cut off and just sticking out. It wasn't something i could just break off myself.. and it was noticeable! I asked if he could cut it off.. you know since I am paying for these cuts anyways. His attitude was terrible and so was his friends who was waiting for him to get done..I again asked for help loading.. the cashier paged several times as I waited...all while I am watching one of the guys walk around with a broom.. he sees me several times... not once does he come up to help me. When I told the cashier I will load it myself, she yells for the guy to come help and he drops his broom with an attitude I guess because he didn't feel like actually working. I left seeing red. I was so mad it ruined my night! have told myself after each experience I will not come back.. however I do because it is more convenient for me and I prefer shopping at a Lowes than Home Depot. I am not sure if anyone bothers reading these reviews. But if so .. word of advice.. I would do a better job at hiring employees with better customer service skills and that want to actually work.. not just collect a paycheck.
